Dow Jones faced the challenge of managing multiple brands across various platforms, each supported by different backend systems. To streamline operations, they developed a unified app platform featuring a trunk-based development process and a core feature library that could be customized to meet each brand's specific business requirements.

Our design process began with The Wall Street Journal as the foundation, then expanded to test and refine the experience with other brands like Barron's and MarketWatch. Throughout development, we focused on optimizing how customers consume content on mobile devices during key moments of their day—while making morning coffee, commuting to work, taking lunch breaks, and unwinding in the evening.

I collaborated with the product teams to ensure business requirements were met and the editorial teams to develop the storytelling tools they needed to engage their audiences effectively.
